Glass Bottom Boat Trip to Blue Bay Marine Park

Explore the blue waters of Blue Bay Marine Park which is located on the southeast part of the Mauritius Island by hopping on to the glass bottom boat. The view of the underwater world is simply breath-taking, especially when seen through the boat’s glass bottom. Once you reach the bay of Blue Bay Marine Park the variant shades of the sea will be a feast for your eyes to see. The Seven Coloured Earths at Chamarel

You cannot go to Mauritius and not visit this charming village! Located in the Chamarel plain of the Rivière Noire District in south-western Mauritius, Seven Coloured Earths is a small area of sand dunes settled in differently coloured layers which is a surreal spectacle to the human eyes. What makes this place a prominent tourist attraction is the geological phenomenon formed through conversion of basaltic lava to clay minerals that form seven different colours (approximately red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow). Visit Port Louis

For the sprawling city that it is, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to places to visit in Port Lois. The French-colonial infrastructure gleams in the tropical heat in almost the mild climate that runs throughout the year. The capital city of Mauritius, Port Louis is the epicenter of history and commercialism. The city flaunts several historical sites dating back from the nineteenth century and commercial complexes such as the Natural History Museum & Mauritius Institute, built in 1842, Place d’Armes and Central Market. Experience the vivid cultures of Mauritius by walking on the busy streets of central market with bazaars and street food on either side. Be sure to also check out the Aapravasi Ghat (The Immigration Depot), which was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2006.

Speedboat to Ile Aux Cerfs Island

Also known as Deer Island, Ile Aux Cerfs is a privately owned island which is situated near the east coast of Mauritius in the Flacq District. This paradise island of Mauritius is spread over 86 hectares with exuberant vegetation, white sandy beaches, large lagoons and coral reefs. You can get to Ile Aux Cerfs from the mainland by speed boat, yacht or even via the catamaran cruise, all of which are equivalently exhilarating experiences. There are two possible departure points to get to Ile Aux Cerfs, which are Blue Bay or Trou d’Eau Douce. What is so alluring about the trip is the pleasant cruise along the east coast, amid the mesmerizing colours of the sunset spread across the horizon. The island is known for its aquaventure activities, restaurants and beautiful beaches. Water skiing, banana, glass bottom boat rides and golfing on the island’s 18 holes golf course are some of the activities you must try at Ile Aux Cerfs.

Underwater Sub-scooter Ride

The underwater sub-scooter ride is one of Mauritius’ most prominent tourist attractions. The ride on your own single motorized scuba bike which is a hybrid of a scooter and mini submarine is just too much fun to ride under the blue and emerald waters of the North West oceans. Get a chance to experience the underwaters by manoeuvring your solo scooter, which gives you a 360-degree view of the vibrant marine sea life of the Indian Ocean. You will be assisted by a fully qualified PADI Dive Instructor who will give you specific guidelines from the beginning to the end of the tour.
